Learning New Things in the Big Apple? What’s Not to Like?
Having worked on many different projects with FlutterFlow over the years, attending the FlutterFlow Developers Conference in New York is something our developer team simply can't miss.
As one of the top three FlutterFlow experts in the world, the conference was the perfect opportunity for us to learn even more about the platform from industry experts, get introduced to new features and upgrades, meet the FlutterFlow team, network with fellow developers, and, of course, share our knowledge and expertise with the community, as well.
We Did It All!
FFDC 2024: Learning, Hackathon, Awards, and More!
We had incredible opportunities to do much more than just attend the conference.
→ Developing the FFDC App
We worked directly with the FlutterFlow team to develop the official conference app.
The FlutterFlow team noticed our work and expertise, which led to a close collaboration. We delivered a user-friendly app specifically designed for live streaming the conference, placing a huge responsibility on us to ensure that attendees had an engaging and smooth experience.

But that wasn’t all. We also took part in the FFDC Hackathon, where we built an innovative educational app that helps people with learning how to write. It was an exciting challenge that allowed us to go head-to-head with talented teams from around the world.

Plus, we are extremely proud and more than happy to announce that our team won the App Design of the Year Award at this year's FFDC for our lifestyle meditation app, WildSound.

What Happens at FFDC Doesn’t Stay at FFDC

Everything our team learned at the conference gets passed on to everyone else, keeping everyone engaged and up to date with the latest trends (we already tried some of the new features of FlutterFlow 5.0).
And here’s the thing: with all this knowledge flowing, we strengthen our culture of continuous learning and build a strong sense of teamwork, ensuring that everyone is upskilled and ready to showcase their new expertise in our development process.
Work Hard, Explore NYC Harder
While this was a business trip packed with meetings, conferences, and networking focused on professional and company development, we recognized that for many team members, it was their first time in NYC or even overseas.
So, we scheduled some free time to check out iconic spots like Wall Street, SoHo, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Top of the Rock; etc. We even took a sunset ferry ride on the Hudson River!
And let’s talk about the food! From tasty bagels to classic NYC pizza, we made sure to try all the local favorites, and we couldn’t pass up the chance to sample some American snacks that had very questionable colors!
To win over our developers’ hearts, trying the Apple Vision Pro was a must! Just like Miha said, it was the most incredible experience ever – absolutely mind-blowing!
And since Slovenians love to party and socialize, we totally enjoyed the NYC rooftop scene at the FlutterFlow party.
