1 Conferences Across the Sea: From San Francisco to New York
When it comes to professional growth, we go big – like flying across the Atlantic big!
In 2024, we attended 2 amazing conferences in the USA.
Our design team headed to San Francisco for Config. They learned a lot about the latest UX/UI design updates, met other designers, and brought back fresh ideas to improve our projects and workflows.

It was proof of our dedication, expertise, and hard work – and a reminder that going the extra mile really pays off and shows just what our team can do.

3 Welcoming 20 New Faces and 3 Furry Friends!
The more, the merrier – and 2024 proved that in the best way.
2024 was a year of growth, and we mean that literally – we welcomed 20 new team members into the Calda team!
Each brought fresh energy, diverse perspectives, expertise, skills to the app development, making our team even more dynamic – especially with their interesting music tastes and even lunch debates have become more interesting.
And let’s not forget the office dogs, who added a little chaos (and a lot of smiles) to our days work days.
4 Hello, New Office
2024 brought a big upgrade – a new office on the top floor with the most stunning views!
There were lots of IKEA trips, painting, finding the perfect green sofa, and adding plants wherever we could.
And now, it’s bright, modern, and has an open work space (perfect for sneaking a look at coworker’s screen).
I mean, who wouldn’t love an office like ours?
5 Clients Coming to Ljubljana from All Over the World!
We’re all about building great relationships with our partners, and in 2024, some projects gave us the chance to welcome them to Ljubljana, where they could see how our development process works!
Having clients from the Netherlands, Canada, Israel, and many others visit made every project feel even more collaborative.
There’s nothing like face-to-face collaboration, brainstorming, and sharing perspectives which makes app development more interactive, efficient, and stress-free for both sides.
6 Well-Earned & Well-Spent Team-Building Events
Okay, we might be a little biased here, but when it comes to team-building, we know how to plan really good ones!
In 2024, we had not one, but 2 right here in Slovenia at Goriška Brda and Velika Planina.

Team-building for us isn’t about another corporate trend we have to follow to be relevant or to post on social media. It’s about getting to know each other outside of work, make sure everyone feels welcomed and valued through fun activities (whether it’s cheese-making, hiking, cycling, or delicious cuisine, it’s always about having fun together).
And that’s exactly what 2024’s events gave us: they brought long-time members closer and helped newcomers fit in the Calda spirit.

2024 was a year to remember!
Our Kuča Časti parties made sure we celebrated every milestone, birthday, award, and any other chance to gather as a team.
Every party was full of laughter, great food, Mario Kart, and the kind of energy that truly reflects who we are: a team that works hard, celebrates harder and always finds a reason to come together.
After all, what better way to celebrate success than by sharing it with the people who made it happen?
